Unlike many soundbars, the Sony HT-MT300 has been designed around your home rather than the other way around. The slimline subwoofer is much easier to slot into places others won't fit. 'Sofa Mode' optimises the bass when placed under a sofa or chair, to give a less 'boomy' sound. The soundbar itself is just 50cm wide and 5.4cm high and finished in a soft charcoal black colour, making it less intrusive than other soundbars.
For the true cinema effect, a powerful subwoofer gives this Sony soundbar real 'thunder'. Soundtracks come to live with punchy dynamics and music sounds fuller and more realistic than ever. No avoid an excess of cables cluttering up your room, the subwoofer also benefits from a wireless connection to the soundbar.
Bluetooth with NFC (Near-Field Communication) makes streaming your music simple. NFC streaming just needs a swipe from an NFC device, but if your smartphone or tablet isn't so equipped, pair via Bluetooth is the usual way. Once connected, you'll be able to stream all your stored music and favourite streaming services such as Spotify, without the need for any wires.
