Who are we?

Lords Electrical not only sell appliances but we also have a rental service specialising in Smart TV, Home Entertainment and Domestic Appliances.

Providing a first-class rental service and support since 1926, our service department tries to offer a same-day call out six days a week. In the event of a breakdown, if you contact us before 10 am Monday to Saturday, the dedicated care team will aim to resolve your problem that day.

Why should I rent?

The benefits of renting are huge. Renting can make items affordable, convenient and less worry as we will look after your equipment for the duration of your contract. There are no repair bills for any faults that may occur either. You can also Upgrade your equipment after the 18 months and have something more updated. Technology can change so quickly so Rental is ideal if you like to have the latest gadget or the biggest Television screen. As part of the rental contract, we will deliver and install your equipment and give you an in-home demonstration free of charge. 

What can you rent?

We can rent virtually anything in our showrooms from a Brand new state of the art 4k Led Television, a new Range Cooker to show off at dinner parties, A big load washing machine to help with the growing family, A brand new Sonos music streaming speaker or even a new Dyson vacuum cleaner that you have eagerly wanted.

Who can rent from us?

We do expect certain criteria to be met for us to be able to rent our equipment to you. The minimum rental period is 18 months and we do ask for 2 months deposit up front. The application form would need to be completed in one of our 2 showrooms and a Credit check will be carried out to confirm that you are on the Electoral roll for where you would like the equipment to be and that no County Court Judgements are present or unsatisfied. We also require your home to be covered by Contents insurance in case of any accidents that could occur to our equipment. We also expect a minimum renting age of 18 years old and a Guarantor to be added to our records. We also need our equipment to be installed within our delivery range which is 15 miles radius from our showrooms.

How do I pay?

As much as we would love for you to come into our Showrooms each month with a payment card to see us, we do realise that this isn't possible for everybody so we do have Direct Debit in place and some people even like to send a Cheque through the post. Some of our Customers Pay for their rental Yearly, but normally it is a monthly payment.
