Returns & Cancellations

Whilst we want you to be happy with your new purchase, we understand that sometimes you may change your mind. If you want to return your order, please notify us within 14 days of delivery and ensure this is received by us within a further 14 days, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the product(s) in their original condition* to either one of our two showrooms either in person or by Courier. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the product(s), subject to the conditions below.

We recommend using DPD for smaller items as these are a reputable company, trackable, and reasonably priced. Please make sure that you have sufficient coverage with the company in case of loss or damage.

If we delivered your product originally and you wish that our delivery team collect the item as it is too large for a courier then we will collect and charge a re-stocking fee of £29.90

*Original condition refers to boxed and unused.

Where the item is a small domestic item (such as a kettle or a vacuum) you may open the box in order to inspect the item, however, the contents must be placed back as they were and the box resealed.

Where an item is a large appliance (such as a washing machine or refrigerator), there is packaging that once removed, cannot be replaced and therefore removal of this constitutes acceptance of the product. Installation of an item would also constitute acceptance.

In both cases, should you return an item that we deem as unsaleable at its original value we do reserve the right to withhold up to 50% of the original item value.

Please ensure the item has been returned to us within the 14 days of notifying us that you would like to return the item under the Consumer Contract Regulations.

 

Faulty Small Items (Kettles, toasters etc) or other products under 28 days

If you are unfortunate to have a product that appears to have developed a fault then please follow the steps below.

  • Contact us either via telephone, email or enter one of our two showrooms to see if there is anything that we can help with, as the majority of issues that we receive can be resolved this way.
  • If the item still appears to be faulty then we ask that the item is returned to us. If we delivered the item then we will arrange for it to be collected at our cost.
  • We reserve the right to inspect the item and if after inspection we discover that the item is not faulty we will contact you to see if you would like the item returning at your cost, no refund will be given in these circumstances.
  • If after inspection the item is faulty then a full refund will be issued via the original payment method.

 

Faulty large items over 28 days old

If you are unfortunate to have a product that appears to have developed a fault then please follow the steps below.

  • Contact us either via telephone, email or enter one of our two showrooms to see if there is anything that we can help with, as the majority of issues that we receive can be resolved this way.
  • If after speaking to one of our knowledgeable members of staff and the issue cannot be resolved then we will advise you to telephone the Manufacturer either by telephone or on their website to discuss booking a service call.
  • Manufacturers, as our agents, have excellent troubleshooting methods which can resolve many issues, they are also in a better position to discuss available dates with customers if a service call is required.
  • If the item is deemed "beyond economical repair" by the engineer that calls they will leave you with the relevant paperwork which will have an uplift number attached. Please then contact ourselves regarding a replacement or a refund.
  • Any installation costs will not be covered.

 

The following charges, by way of a deduction, will be applied for any products returned missing the original manufacturer packed accessories.

Instruction Books £10 - £20
Mains Leads, Chargers £30 - £60
Other Leads £3 - £60
Rechargeable Batteries £30 - £70
SD Card, Removable storage £20 - £100

 

We are unable to accept back the following items unless unopened or faulty
Recording media - USB Sticks, DVD discs, SD Cards
Batteries and Leads
Brackets or stands, unless supplied as part of the main product
Vacuum accessories, for example, a bag, filters or belts
