The new Sonos Five boasts a more refined appearance to its predecessor the Sonos Play:5. With a more discrete logo and colour matched matte grille the Five boasts the same, sleek aesthetic as Sonos’ latest products.

Featuring top-panel touch controls and a mesh front, it epitomises a high-quality speaker. 

Choose between a horizontal or vertical orientation to suit your layout. With rubber feet on three sides, you can stand it tall or set it on its side and the speaker will automatically optimise the sound for the chosen orientation. 

Sonos have packed the new Five with upgraded internals including future-ready computing hardware.

It also boasts an increased memory and increased processing power as well as BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), NFC (Near Field Communication) and an updated wireless radio to provide a more powerful wifi connection

Use the 3.5mm jack line-in connection to play audio from a turntable, phone, laptop/PC or CD player. Once connected to the Five, you can send the audio to any other Sonos speakers in your system. 

The line-in connection enables the Five to automatically detect when audio starts playing so you can start listening to the second the needle hits the record.
